In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

The IVF procedure involves retrieving eggs from the woman’s ovaries after a period of stimulation on fertility medications and placing them together with the partner’s sperm in a laboratory setting to augment the possibility of fertilization. Another type of laboratory intervention used to promote fertilization is called intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). For this technique, one sperm is selected and injected into each egg. This process ensures single sperm penetration into an egg and may encourage a better rate of fertilization in some cases. Your physician will decide which technique offers you the best benefit. Successfully fertilized eggs, having been cultured into embryos, are then transferred into the uterus.

Genetic Screening (PGS/PGD)

Pre-implantation Genetic Screening (PGS)The field of human reproduction is constantly advancing, bringing tangible benefits to patients. Pre-implantation Genetic Screening (PGS) is used to help select for transfer of the healthiest embryos. Routine in vitro fertilization (IVF) continues to result in the placement of embryos into the uterus that are not genetically intact and fail to produce a pregnancy. Further, some of these abnormal embryos will result in transiently positive pregnancy tests and/or early miscarriages.

This approach, using PGS, has been shown to reduce the chance of miscarriage. In fact, it appears to improve the successful reproductive chances for some older women who have experienced pregnancy losses associated with genetically abnormal conceptions. Finally, this may be a way of reducing the negative impact of a woman’s age on her pregnancy outcome. As the experience has expanded, PGS appears to improve pregnancy rates for most infertility problems and is likely to become a common component of IVF cycles.

The technology improves the chances and restore confidence for women who have suffered repeated pregnancy losses. If you have experience with pregnancy loss, please know there is hope. If you know someone that has experienced this as well let them know that help is available.

Egg Donor

Some patients require the help of a donor egg to make their dreams of parenthood come true. AFMC serves as your advocate during this process, offering you the skill, support and experience to develop a customized treatment plan that meets your specific needs.

People may consider that what will be the psychological consequences of carrying a baby that is genetically not my own? We can say unequivocally that carrying the baby for nine months results in a solid, loving bond between the mother and the child, regardless of the genetic origin of the donated egg. In our experience, donor eggs never have led to any problems. The fact that the child has been carried for nine months in the uterus results in solid bonding between mother and baby, regardless of the genetic origin of the egg, and this results in a child that is just like your own.

How will the baby develop regarding personality., intelligence, character, emotional competence? Most of the development of personality, character, intelligence, emotional security, and even athleticism begin in the first three years of life. The DNA is just the house that the person lives in, but how the baby grows depends on the first several years of their life.

Surrogacy (Iwini Surrogacy)

The United States is one of the earliest countries to recognize the concept of surrogacy. California, where the AFMC is located, is the state with the highest degree of legalization of surrogacy. The surrogacy law is very complete, and it can protect the rights and interests of prospective parents, ensuring that only their names will appear on the birth certificate of the baby.

AFMC cooperates with the most professional surrogate company – IWINI Surrogacy Inc, from stimulation to egg retrieval, selection of surrogate mother, and follow-up baby's birth certificate and passport management. We aim to provide one-stop solution for all problems with the most complete and legal Tripartite assisted reproductive services.

We believe that pre-screening a potential surrogate’s medical candidacy can save prospective parents and surrogates considerable time, money and emotional energy. In addition, the non-medical factors including psychosocial, geographical, legal and insurance considerations must also be evaluated before any match can be finalized, and these are ultimately best evaluated by qualified surrogacy matching agencies, attorneys and/or social workers.
