What is infertility?

Infertility is the duration of unprotected intercourse with failure to conceive after twelve months for females 35 years of age and younger or six months for females 35 years of age and older. Infertility is also prevalent among males, commonly around 40 years of age.

Smoking, excessive alcohol use, and extreme weight gain are contributing factors impacting males and females.

Did my birth control cause me to have infertility?

Birth control usage is a common misconception of infertility since a majority of birth controls involve hormone regulation. However, most females are able to ovulate weeks after birth control usage.

Can infertility be cured?

Technically, no, infertility a cannot be completely cured. However, there are medications males and females are able to take, both my mouth and injectable medicine, as well as assisted reproductive technology (ART) fertility treatments to help treat infertility.
